A Night of Elegance, Diversity, and Groundbreaking Achievements

Asian Model Icon International 2025 – February Series Grand Finale Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 23 February 2025 – The grand finale the prestigious Asian Model Icon International 2025 took place on 23 February 2025 at HGH Convention Centre. This highly anticipated event opened with a captivating performance by Malaysian artist Hugo, who is also well-known in Hong Kong. He serenaded the audience with his original song "Prince and Princess" (王子与公主). The event was elegantly hosted by the founder himself, Alex Lim, alongside renowned Malaysian actress Sherry Aljeffri.

The competition was adjudicated by a distinguished panel of judges, including:

Adding to the night’s glamour, Alex Lim made his debut performance with a cover of an Elvis Presley classic – You Don’t Have To Say you Love Me, while co-host Sherry Aljeffri was introduced as the newly crowned Ambassador of Madam Artsy Queen Universe. She has also signed a prestigious 2-year RM100,000 contract with La'Mode Group.

Runway Highlights
The competition saw two dazzling fashion rounds:
The first round featured contestants showcasing exclusive designs by Alex Lim.
The second round highlighted sustainability and style, with female contestants donning vibrant, colourful pieces made from VSutra’s vegan materials, while the gentlemen looked dashing in their tailored suits.
Special Recognition: Photography Award
The prestigious Photography Award was won by Goh Bong Hiang and his wife, Connie Chan, for their outstanding contributions to visual storytelling.
Newly Launched Categories: Madam Universe & Miss Petite Universe
This year, two new categories were introduced to celebrate raw emotions and true authenticity:
Madam Universe crowned Queen Diana Ooi.
Miss Petite Universe crowned Queen Evon Tan.

Competition Winners
Mister Modelesque
Winner: Joshua Bechler – A young man of mixed Malay-German heritage, born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. Working within the fashion industry, this was his first-ever pageant, and he claimed the title with his undeniable charisma and talent.

Asian Model Icon International (Femme)
Winner: Christie Foo
1st Runner-up: Lynette Toh
2nd Runner-up: Christine Ooi

Asian Model Icon International (Gentleman)
Winner: Prabu Sadega – The reigning Asian Model Icon Indonesia 2024 champion. Overcome with emotion, Prabu dedicated his win to his home country, as this was his first international stage appearance.
1st Runner-up: Attaullah (Pakistan)
2nd Runner-up: Danial (Borneo) – A Singapore Airlines cabin crew member, proving that one can balance both passion and profession.

Gentleman World Icon
Winner: Pourya SH – Representing Iran, this half-Iranian, half-Italian gentleman stunned audiences with his physique, charm, and talent. Few would guess that he is also a national swimmer and a pilot.
1st Runner-up: Michael Thankgod – A professional Nigerian football player representing Immigration FC Malaysia.
2nd Runner-up: Ramesh Rajadran – A humble English teacher who proved that confidence and elegance transcend professions.

Artsy Queen Universe
Miss Category:
Winner: Ranjeta Suthagaran – The reigning Asian Model Icon International 2024 winner.
1st Runner-up: Ajock (South Sudan) – A passionate advocate for representation and diversity.
2nd Runner-up: Shi Yuan – A contestant who entered with zero knowledge but gained immense experience and growth through AMI.

Lady Category:
Winner: Caro Kraft – Hailing from Germany but with Filipino roots, Caro joined the competition to redefine beauty standards. Having struggled with an eating disorder, she aims to inspire others to embrace inner beauty.
1st Runner-up: Brenda Low – A personal trainer and the Asian Model Icon 2024 Magnificent Category winner.
2nd Runner-up: Rachel Lee – A returning contestant who competed last year.

Madam Category:
The most inspiring category of the night was the Madam Category, where contestants demonstrated that beauty and resilience have no age limit.
Winner: Haniza – A breast cancer survivor in her 60s, proving that beauty is truly timeless.
1st Runner-up: Yap Chooi Keng
2nd Runner-up: Michelle Wong
